Teaching Assistant/MSA – KS2

Scale D 16.25 hrs a week – 12:00-3:15pm Monday-Friday

Fixed Term Contract from September 1st 2019 to 31st August July 2020 in the first instance

Just over 30 minutes of picturesque drive from the centre of Norwich and Great Yarmouth (travelling in the opposite direction to most cars!) is The Coastal Federation – a federation of three schools and SRB (Behaviour) located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. Mundesley Infant School and Mundesley Junior School share the same site and Bacton Primary School is just 3 miles away.

We are looking to employ someone to support the needs of the children in Bacton Primary school. The position is a fixed term contract from the start of the 1st September 2019 till the 31st of July 2020, whereupon it be reviewed.

We are looking for candidates who;

  • Have recent experience working with upper Key Stage 2 children
  • Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
  • GCSE or Equivalent in mathematics and English
  • Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Are able to support the children within the class and during break times.
  • Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
  • Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
  • Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
  • Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
  • A very good sense of humour!
